What gift vouchers are suitable to buy for Tasmania?

I want to buy a gift voucher for a friend that lives in Tasmania. She's 21. What are some ideas of stores that are everywhere (e.g. Myer). Also, is it worth getting a voucher like a Ticketek or Red Balloon voucher, or is not much offered for these?

Thanks! What gift vouchers are suitable to buy for Tasmania?
It probably depends a bit on her interests - as previous posters have said, there are many of the major chain stores represented in both Launceston, Hobart and (to a lesser extent) in Burnie/Devonport. I've always found the ';Coles Group'; and ';Woolworths Group'; credit vouchers pretty flexible when you're not really sure what sort of thing someone will want to buy, as they're not restricted to any particular store.

Alternatively, there are many smaller businesses in Tasmania which offer vouchers if you've got more idea of what sort of thing she'd like. Most of them will do vouchers over the phone by credit card and post / arrange for collection by the recipient. I recently received a voucher to a little shop in Hobart called ';Love and Clutter'; - it has a range of quirky clothing, accessories, cards, homewares etc. There's also the Tasmania-wide chain Habitat, which sells homewares and cooking equipment, if she's setting up a home. Fullers bookshop is also excellent and has outlets in both Hobart and Launceston. You can even buy vouchers to use in Tasmania's Adult Education program!

A completely different possibility is an ';Entertainment Book'; - they're sold by various charities in Tasmania (there are interstate equivalents) for $55.00 (?) and contain heaps of vouchers (mostly 20% off, free ticket/meal when another purchased etc.) to various restaurants, cafes, shops, movies and other entertainment. I bought mine from the MS Society and it has been fantastic. The vouchers are valid until 1 June of the following year, so the disadvantage is that this year's book is already 1/2-way through its lifetime. Anyway, here's the link, in case you're interested:

One suggestion though, don't give her a Borders books voucher - people keep sending them to me and we don't have one here!!!What gift vouchers are suitable to buy for Tasmania?
It will depend on where in Tassy she is, Hobart has the most national stores such as Myer, JB Hi Fi, Cue, Harris Scarfe.

We don't have Ticketek but it she travels of concerts, shows etc it could be good
