I don't know if there might be Steve Madden stores anywhere else, but if there are, then you can try in one of them. If you can't find any or none will accept the voucher, then I don't think there's a lot else you can do.What happens when a store closes down and you still have a valid gift voucher?
If they've gone into liquidation, you might be able to get something from the liquidators, but I wouldn't bet on it. It all depends on where the law in your country places you in the list of creditors, how much money there is available to pay all the debts, and so on.
